Who we are
DDC Services ("we") operates a job placement platform at ddcserv.com, connecting candidates in Odisha with employers. Contact: hr@ddcserv.com.
What we collect
When you sign up we collect your name, email address, mobile number and a password. The password is stored only as a one-way hash — nobody at DDC can read it. As you build your profile we also store what you choose to add: date of birth, city, education, work experience, skills, job preferences, photo and resume. If you signed up through a campus poster or a friend’s link, we note which one, so that sign-ups can be counted.
Why we collect it
Solely to run your account, show you jobs and send the job alerts you ask for, match you to suitable openings, send you account emails (confirming your address, resetting your password), and share your profile with the employer of a job you apply to. Our team may call you about a job you applied to. We never sell your data.
Consent
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you create your account. The date, language and version of the consent you accepted are stored with your account and included when you download your data.
Where it is stored
Data is stored on servers located in India. Uploaded documents are kept in private cloud storage and are never publicly accessible. Account emails are sent through our email provider, which receives only your address and the message.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and data at any time — in the app under Settings, or by contacting hr@ddcserv.com. We respond within 30 days.
Retention
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account (Settings → Delete account), your name, mobile number, email, password, profile, documents and notifications are erased straight away. Applications you made remain only as anonymous records for the employer, with no way back to you, and we keep the record that consent was given (its date and version), which names no one. Password-reset links expire after 1 hour and email-confirmation links after 7 days.
